Lough Neagh Fishermen’s Co-operative Society recognises the importance of  having accredited food safety systems, which are thoroughly evaluated against national industry standards. Our recent awards are recognition of the high quality of our products and the effort our team make to consistently produce excellent premium products

We set high standards in food hygiene and safety and have been awarded the highest rating by our district council. Our processing plant at Toomebridge, Approval number UK ZT 024 EC, permits the processing of fishery products including eels and scale fish
SALSA certification demonstrates our ability to produce safe, legal food and our commitment to continuous improvement, to meet the requirements of this highly recognised standard.  Our SALSA site code is 4191.
 Smoked Lough Neagh Eel achieved GTA 3* in 2017, with some of the top food judges confirming what an extraordinary tasty food it is!
